The Korean Cultural Service New York (KCSNY) in partnership with the New York Classical Players (NYCP) presents virtuoso violinist and audience favorite Chee-Yun through the 'Korean Artists Showcase' program. Chee-Yun returns to collaborate with the New York Classical Players in Astor Piazzolla's iconic Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. NYCP will also present Ney Rasauro’s Marimba Concerto, as performed by multi-talented musician Tomoya Aomori. This concerto is a multi-movement celebration of the marimba’s artistic capabilities, and draws inspiration from the music of Brazil, jazz, and dance The concert will also include two lush examples of twentieth-century English composition, the Serenade for Strings by Edward Elgar and Peter Warlock’s Capriol Suite.
